1. What does NAVNii offer?
NAVNii is a gemstone design house offering a range of gemstones and gemstone products, including designer layouts, matching pairs, beads and necklaces, precious gemstones, semi-precious gemstones, synthetic gemstones and gemstone lots.
We also help customers with specific gemstone requirements through our custom sourcing service, subject to availability.
NAVNii is built around the idea of bringing gemstones together with thoughtful selection, presentation and design.
Along with individual loose gemstones, we offer designer layouts and matching pairs, as well as beads and necklaces. We also help customers find or arrange gemstones according to specific requirements.
Our aim is to make discovering and choosing gemstones more informative and convenient.
NAVNii is based in Jaipur, India, with its roots in a family gemstone business that has been operating for more than three decades.
Our work combines our family's experience in the gemstone trade with a modern digital approach to presenting and connecting gemstones with customers.
NAVNii brings the experience of a traditional gemstone business into a digital environment.
We focus on clear information, careful presentation and helping customers understand what they are choosing. Customers can explore gemstones online, ask questions about specific requirements and contact us when they need something that is not currently listed.
We believe a good gemstone business is built on trust, transparency and long-term relationships, rather than simply selling more products.
NAVNii offers both natural and synthetic gemstones.
The gemstone type is clearly stated in the relevant product information so that customers can understand what they are considering before making a purchase.
Precious gemstones traditionally include stones such as diamonds, rubies, sapphires and emeralds.
Semi-precious gemstones include a much wider range of stones, such as amethyst, citrine, garnet, aquamarine and many others.
Synthetic gemstones are gemstone-like materials created using synthetic materials such as glass or similar materials.
Lab-created gemstones are produced in laboratory conditions and can be made to have characteristics similar to particular natural gemstones.
NAVNii clearly identifies the gemstone type in the relevant product information.
Certification depends on the type of gemstone and the available documentation.
Precious and semi-precious gemstones may come with certification or other available documentation. Where additional verification is required, we can discuss certification options with you.
Synthetic gemstones generally do not require certification in the same way as natural precious or semi-precious gemstones.
For lab-created gemstones, certification or documentation may depend on the particular material and product.
We aim to clearly state the available information and do not claim certification where it does not exist.
Our gemstone selection is supported by our family's experience in the gemstone trade.
We personally examine gemstones and pay attention to their appearance, characteristics and overall presentation. Depending on the gemstone and the level of certainty required, further verification or laboratory certification may also be appropriate.
We believe customers should have clear information about what they are choosing.
Some gemstones may be heated or treated to improve or alter their appearance.
NAVNii clearly states in the relevant product listing whether a gemstone is heated, treated or otherwise enhanced, where that information is applicable.
If treatment status is important to your purchase, we encourage you to check the product information or contact us before purchasing.
Natural gemstones can vary considerably even when they are the same type.
Colour, tone, clarity, inclusions, cut, shape, size and other characteristics can all affect how a gemstone looks.
This is one reason we believe photographs and detailed product information are important when choosing a gemstone online.
Designer layouts are arrangements of gemstones selected and presented together as a coordinated combination.
Matching pairs are two gemstones selected to have a compatible appearance, such as similar colour, size, shape or overall visual characteristics.
Because natural gemstones vary, matching does not necessarily mean that two stones will be perfectly identical.
A gemstone lot is a group or collection of gemstones offered together.
Lots can be useful for customers, designers, jewellers or collectors who are looking for multiple gemstones rather than a single stone.
The characteristics and quantity of each lot can vary, so the specific product description should be checked before purchasing.
Yes. If you are looking for a specific gemstone, colour, shape, size, pair or layout that you cannot find in our current listings, you can share your requirements with us.
We can check our existing inventory or, subject to availability, work with trusted gemstone-market partners to source or arrange the gemstone for you.
Yes.
If the gemstone you are looking for is available or we are able to arrange it, we can create a dedicated Etsy listing based on your requirements.
This allows you to review the specific item and purchase it through Etsy.
Yes. You can tell us what you are looking for, including your preferred:
Gemstone type
Colour
Shape or cut
Size
Quantity
Matching requirements
The more specific your requirements are, the easier it is for us to check what may be available.
For natural gemstones, exact characteristics may vary because each stone can be different.
You can contact us through the Contact Us page on our website or email us directly at:
contact@navnii.com
Email is our preferred communication channel because it allows us to keep the details of your requirements clear and respond reliably.
Our current online purchases are made through Etsy.
Our website allows you to explore NAVNii, discover our gemstone offerings and contact us about specific requirements.
If we arrange a gemstone specifically for you, we can create a dedicated Etsy listing where applicable.
Absolutely.
If you are unsure about a gemstone, its characteristics, available information, size, colour, treatment status or another aspect of a listing, you can contact us before purchasing.
We would rather help you understand what you are considering than have you purchase something without having the information you need to make your decision.
We provide the information available to us about each gemstone through its product listing and, where appropriate, through direct communication with customers.
This can include details such as the gemstone type, colour, shape, size, treatment status and other relevant characteristics.
Where gemstones are sourced as lots, we may also receive lot certificates or related documentation from our trusted suppliers, which can support the information provided about those gemstones.
We aim to present information clearly so customers can make an informed choice.
Our understanding of gemstones comes from our family's experience in the gemstone trade and from working with gemstones directly.
We carefully examine the gemstones we handle and also consider the information provided through our sourcing and trade relationships.
For gemstones purchased as lots, we receive lot certificates or related documentation from our trusted suppliers, where available. These documents can provide supporting information about the gemstones in the lot.
Some gemstones can be assessed through observation and experience, while others may require additional verification. When greater certainty is needed, laboratory testing and certification can provide additional support.
We aim to be transparent about the information available to us and distinguish between supplier-provided documentation, our own assessment and independent laboratory verification.
No. NAVNii does not claim that every gemstone is independently certified.
Some gemstones may come with certificates or other documentation, while others may not require certification in the same way, depending on their type.
Where certification or further verification is relevant, we aim to be transparent about what documentation is available and what may still need to be verified.
Yes. If you require additional verification or certification for a particular gemstone, please let us know before purchasing.
We can discuss what verification may be appropriate and what options may be available for that particular gemstone.
Any additional certification or laboratory testing may be subject to availability and applicable costs.
A gemstone's appearance can be influenced by lighting, photography, display settings and the device used to view the image.
Natural gemstones can also vary in colour, clarity, inclusions, cut and other characteristics.
We therefore try to present gemstones carefully through photographs and product information, but photographs should be considered a representation rather than a perfect substitute for seeing the gemstone in person.
Please ask us.
If something is unclear, particularly regarding gemstone type, treatment, certification, measurements or other characteristics, you can contact us before purchasing.
We will check the information available to us and tell you what we can confirm and what may require further verification.
